There are various methods available to treat iron water issues, such as ancient and traditional iron removal methods, but many of them are not efficient. This process does not disrupt your existing pipeline but bypasses it, ensuring a smooth integration.
Here’s how our 50000 LPD Iron Removal Filtration System works:
Step 1: The water from the borewell is diverted into a tank called the Aeration tank. Instead of flowing directly, the water is sprayed through perforated pipes that are fixed within the Aeration tank.
Step 2: After filling the Aeration tank, we allow time for the sediment impurities and rusted iron particles to settle down.
Step 3: The waterline in the Aeration tank is positioned half an inch above the ground level, while another line is placed at the bottom for drainage. To draw the water from this tank, a 5 HP monobloc pump is used.
Step 4: The water then passes through the Dual Media Filter and Multi-Graded Filter. After filtration, the outlet line is connected to your existing line, which leads to the overhead tank, and from there, the clean water is distributed throughout the house.
Step 5: The only maintenance required is backwashing, a simple process that flushes out the iron sediments and waste from the filters. This is easy to operate, thanks to the inbuilt Ceramic Disc valves.
