Description

There are several methods to treat iron-contaminated water, including Ancient and Traditional Iron Removal methods, but many of them are not very effective. To address this, WATERSPARKS has developed a new, advanced treatment method that combines both traditional techniques and modern technology. This process does not interfere with your existing water line; instead, it bypasses it for efficient treatment. Here are the steps involved in our Iron Removal Filtration System:

Step 1: Aeration Tank Setup

The water from the bore is diverted into an Aeration Tank. Instead of flowing directly, the water is sprayed through perforated pipes fixed inside the Aeration Tank to ensure proper aeration.

Step 2: Settling of Impurities

Once the Aeration Tank is filled, the water is left undisturbed for a period of time to allow sediment particles and rusted iron to settle at the bottom.

Step 3: Waterline and Drainage Configuration

In the Aeration Tank, the waterline is positioned about half an inch above the ground level, while a drainage line is placed at the bottom. We use a 5 HP Monobloc Pump to draw the water from the Aeration Tank.

Step 4: Filtration Process

The water then passes through a Dual Media Filter and a Multi-Graded Filter to remove remaining impurities. The clean water is directed back into the existing line, which connects to the overhead tank, from where it is distributed throughout the property.

Step 5: Easy Maintenance – Backwash

The only maintenance required is the Backwash operation. This simple process flushes out the accumulated iron sediments and other waste from the filters. The valves used in the system are equipped with Ceramic Discs, making the operation straightforward and hassle-free.

This system provides a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution for iron removal, ensuring clean, clear water without the need for constant intervention.
