Description

There are various methods available to treat iron-contaminated water, such as Ancient and Traditional Iron Removal methods. However, these methods are often inefficient. Keeping this in mind, WATERSPARKS has developed an innovative treatment method that combines both traditional practices and modern technology. In this process, we bypass your existing water line without causing any disruption. Below are the

steps involved in our Iron Removal Filtration System:

Step 1: Diversion to Aeration Tank

The bore water is diverted to a separate tank called the Aeration Tank. Instead of flowing directly, the water is sprayed through perforated pipes installed inside the Aeration Tank.

Step 2: Settling of Impurities

Once the Aeration Tank is filled, we allow some time for heavy particles like sediment and rusted iron to settle at the bottom.

Step 3: Waterline and Drainage Setup

In the Aeration Tank, the waterline is positioned about half an inch above the ground level, with a drainage line at the bottom. A 5 HP Monobloc Pump is used to extract the water from the Aeration Tank for further filtration.

Step 4: Filtration Process

The water is then passed through Dual Media Filters and Multi-Graded Filters to remove remaining impurities. The filtered water is then directed to the existing water line, which leads to the overhead tank, where it is stored and distributed throughout the property.

Step 5: Easy Maintenance – Backwash

The system requires minimal maintenance. A simple Backwash operation flushes out iron sediments and other waste from the filters. The process is easy to operate, thanks to the German-made valves with built-in Ceramic Discs.
