Description

There are several methods to treat iron-contaminated water, such as ancient and traditional techniques, but they often lack efficiency. Keeping this in mind, WATERSPARKS has developed a unique treatment process that combines both traditional methods and modern technology. This approach ensures minimal disruption, as we bypass your existing water line rather than altering it. Below are the steps in our

Iron Removal Filtration System:

Step 1: Water Diverted to Aeration Tank

Water from the borewell is diverted into a separate Aeration Tank, where it is sprayed through pipes with pre-drilled holes to ensure uniform distribution.

Step 2: Settling of Impurities

After filling the Aeration Tank, the water is allowed to rest so that heavier particles like sediment and rusted iron can settle at the bottom.

Step 3: Waterline and Drainage Setup

The waterline in the Aeration Tank is positioned half an inch above the ground level, with an additional drainage line at the bottom.
A 5 HP Monobloc Pump is used to extract the treated water from the Aeration Tank for further filtration.

Step 4: Filtration Process

The water is then passed through a Dual Media Filter and Multi-Graded Filter to remove any remaining impurities.
The filtered water is directed to the existing water line, which connects to the overhead tank, from where it is distributed throughout the premises as usual.

Step 5: Simple Maintenance – Backwash

The only maintenance required is periodic backwashing, a simple process that flushes out iron sediments and other waste from the filters.
Our valves, equipped with built-in Ceramic Discs, make this maintenance operation smooth and easy to perform.
